Omaha Chapter History

The EWI Omaha Chapter was chartered April 28, 1961 and has been an active organization in our community ever since. We are a premier professional organization composed of firms within the Omaha/Council Bluffs area providing networking opportunities, member firm promotion, educational programs and community service.

The Omaha Chapter is governed by established bylaws and directed by a Board of Directors duly elected from the representatives within the Chapter. The Omaha Chapter provides networking and leadership experiences through various committees and other opportunities.

The Omaha Chapter also prides itself on its community and philanthropic activities which include:

  • Literacy - The Omaha Chapter provides reading and other literacy activities in partnership with local youth agencies through its "Reading Rally" held in October and other projects throughout the year.

  • Scholarships - The Omaha Chapter annually offers Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) Scholarships. These scholarships assist adult students with fulfilling their dreams of completing their education and entering the business/professional world.

  • Philanthropy - The Omaha Chapter representatives hold various drives to collect items in support of local charities and agencies to provide these much needed items to people in need within our community.
