EWI’s Mission
Executive Women International® (EWI) is an organization which brings together key individuals from diverse businesses for the purpose of

  • Promoting Member Firms

  • Enhancing Personal and Professional Development

  • Encouraging Community Involvement

A capable and dedicated Organization
The EWI Omaha Chapter has been an active organization in our community since 1961.

EWI dates back to 1938 when Lucille Johnson Perkins and a group of key women and top secretaries formally incorporated the organization of Executives’ Secretaries in San Francisco. To recognize more diverse roles women held in business, the organization changed its name to Executive Women International® at its 30th Annual Meeting. The Corporate headquarters and staff are in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Omaha Chapter is directed by a Board of Directors duly elected from the representatives in the Chapter. There are also several committees that work on community and philanthropic activities:

  • Literacy - provide reading and other literacy activities in partnership with local youth agencies

  • Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) Scholarships - The Omaha Chapter annually offers scholarships to adults students to assist them with fulfilling their dreams of completing their education and entering the business/professional world

  • Philanthropy - collecting of books, coats, personal items and toiletries by our representatives to help local charities and agencies provide these much needed items to people in our community are just some of the philanthropic projects undertaken by the Omaha Chapter
